We’re proud to highlight our new Stripe Hog which has entered service and is delivering great results. We commissioned the machine following the first lockdown and it has been fully booked ever since. We have performed a range of projects: water cutting, line removal, rubber removal, scabbling and some paint stripping. Click here for more on the Stripe Hog.

Water Cutting

The water cutting season is in full swing on many of our state highways. We have been successful in securing and performing work for NOC contractors from Northland to Canterbury. The machine is pictured below, operating near Rotorua.

Line Removal

Stripe Hog is recognised as the leader in ultra-high pressure line removal. Advantages of this method are:

  • Effective removal of paint
  • No debris left on the road
  • Minimum ghosting

In addition to the Hog, Aquamax runs seven line-removal trucks – the largest fleet in the country.

Scabbling & Paint Stripping

The machine is also capable of very cost-effect concrete scabbling and paint and corrosion stripping. Shown below is a recent project on a large ship and scabbling of a rooftop car park.
